Warehouse Manager (Heavy Equipment or Manufacturing)
Join a growing company as a Direct Hire, Warehouse Manager overseeing warehouse, distribution and production operations. The ideal candidate is results-oriented, operationally savvy, and experienced in managing high-volume material flow in a manufacturing environment with a process improvement and efficiency implementation focus while leading the warehouse team.
This position is critical in supporting both production supply chains and multi-channel distribution, including B2B (dealers, commercial clients) and B2C (direct-to-consumer) sales. The role also demands a strong commitment to leadership, process optimization, and safety compliance.
Key Responsibilities
·        Lead day-to-day warehouse teams in scheduling, daily operations, receiving, inventory management, picking, packing and shipping
- Oversee distribution & fulfillment operations, coordinate closely with logistics to optimize carriers, costs, and delivery timelines and monitor KPIs: OTIF, freight spend, and lead time metrics.
- Support of production teams, aligning with procurement and planning teams to ensure inventory readiness for builds, and proactively manage inbound lead times to prevent disruptions.
- Lead coach and mentor staff to foster a culture of safety, innovation, and continuous compliance & process improvement
- Enforce OSHA-compliant safety standards.
- Implement lean practices to improve material flow and reduce waste.
- Utilize ERP/WMS platforms (preferably Acumatica) to track and manage operations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, or related field preferred; equivalent experience considered.
- 5 years of prior warehouse management in a manufacturing environment (heavy equipment strongly preferred).
- Familiarity with B2B/B2C fulfillment processes.
- Strong experience with ERP/WMS software, preferably Acumatica.
- Export compliance knowledge is a plus.
- Proven leadership and cross-functional communication skills.
Location: Greater Phoenix area
Compensation: $80,000 – $110,000 (DOE may consider higher)
Benefits: Full package including medical, dental, 401(k), and performance incentives.
Relocation: May be available for the right candidate.
