Senior Staff Accountant

The Direct Hire, Senior Staff Accountant position will be responsible for performing account reconciliations, recording financial transactions, and assisting with month-end and year-end closings. Additionally, you will ensure accounting best practices are followed while ensuring overall accounting standards and internal controls are compliant. The ideal candidate will enjoy working within an Employee-Centric culture which fosters a positive and collaborative work environment that focuses on teamwork & continuous improvement.

Location: Tampa, FL | Onsite 5 days per week

Salary: $85-95K + Bonus potential
Â
Background Profile:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting - Required
- 5+ years’ Staff Accountant experience
- Strong financial & cost accounting experience
- Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and regulations
- Advanced experience with data analysis and interpretation of financial data
- Advanced MS Excel user including Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP & SUMIF & MS Office
- You are organized, detail-oriented, can multi-task and prioritize to meet deadlines while working in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
- You are an analytical thinker and enjoy solving problems
- Must be a Permanent Resident of the U.S. (U.S. Citizen or Green Card Holder) to be considered
