Our client, a leading healthcare organization in Arizona, is actively searching for a skilled Interventional Radiology (IR) Tech to join their imaging team. This full-time, daytime role is ideal for a radiologic technologist with a strong background in diagnostic imaging and a desire to expand their expertise in interventional radiology procedures.
Position Summary:
The IR Technologist will perform a broad range of diagnostic and interventional radiographic procedures, working closely with physicians and clinical teams in a fast-paced, patient-focused environment. From trauma and OR cases to myelography and arthrography, this role requires both technical precision and a compassionate approach to patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform high-quality diagnostic and interventional radiologic procedures
- Prepare exam rooms and equipment for complex cases, including trauma and OR
- Operate imaging equipment and assist practitioners with fluoroscopy, IR, and special procedures
- Monitor patient condition and ensure safe, effective care throughout procedures
- Maintain equipment, supplies, and medications per departmental protocols
- Complete competencies within assigned timeframe and maintain compliance with standards
Qualifications:
Education:
- Required: Graduate of an accredited Imaging Program
- Preferred: Associate’s Degree in Radiologic Sciences or related field
Certifications/Licensure:
- Required: ARRT (R) certification
- Preferred: ARRT VI (Vascular-Interventional) or CI (Cardiac-Interventional)
- Required: Current BLS certification
- State Licensure: If applicable
Experience:
- Required: 2–5 years of diagnostic X-ray experience
- Preferred: 1–3 years of Interventional Radiology experience
