Location: Scottsdale, AZ (Hybrid)
Overview
Our client is seeking a Creative Strategist to lead paid social creative strategy and UGC development across performance channels—primarily Meta (Facebook/Instagram) and TikTok. This is a hands-on, performance-first role for someone who can translate insights into scroll-stopping creative that drives measurable growth.
You’ll own the paid creative engine end-to-end: developing concepts and messaging angles, building testing roadmaps, briefing creators and internal teams, and iterating fast based on data. You’ll also support organic TikTok/Instagram content to keep messaging consistent across paid and organic.

Overview
Our client is seeking a Creative Strategist to lead paid social creative strategy and UGC development across performance channels—primarily Meta (Facebook/Instagram) and TikTok. This is a hands-on, performance-first role for someone who can translate insights into scroll-stopping creative that drives measurable growth.
You’ll own the paid creative engine end-to-end: developing concepts and messaging angles, building testing roadmaps, briefing creators and internal teams, and iterating fast based on data. You’ll also support organic TikTok/Instagram content to keep messaging consistent across paid and organic.
What you’ll do
Paid media creative strategy (primary)
- Own creative strategy for paid social campaigns across Meta, TikTok, and additional performance channels as needed
- Develop and test creative concepts, hooks, messaging angles, and formats designed to improve acquisition performance
- Build creative testing roadmaps and hypotheses in partnership with Growth/Marketing stakeholders
- Analyze performance results to identify winners, patterns, and opportunities to iterate and scale
- Turn insights into clear briefs, feedback, and next-step creative direction for faster learning loops
Creator and UGC management
- Identify, onboard, and manage creators producing short-form video content
- Create detailed creative briefs outlining objectives, messaging, formats, and testing goals
- Provide performance-based feedback to improve creator output and drive stronger results
- Source, evaluate, and repurpose creator content for paid and organic use
Organic social support (secondary)
- Help guide organic TikTok and Instagram content strategy to complement paid creative efforts
- Collaborate on trend-based and creator-driven content while protecting brand voice and positioning
- Ensure consistency in messaging across paid and organic channels
Performance and optimization
- Monitor creative performance across channels and recommend optimizations
- Stay current on platform changes, emerging trends, and competitor creative strategies
- Use learnings to evolve messaging, iterate creative frameworks, and improve testing velocity
What we’re looking for
- 2+ years in creative strategy, paid social creative, or performance-focused creative roles (e.g., DTC, mobile apps, subscription models)
- Demonstrated success developing creative strategy for paid social—especially Meta and TikTok
- Strong grasp of short-form performance drivers (hook, pacing, proof, CTA, format)
- Experience briefing and collaborating with UGC creators and/or internal creative teams
- Comfort appearing on camera when needed
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret performance data and translate it into creative direction
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and organization in a fast-paced, iterative environment
- Experience supporting organizations with meaningful paid spend (e.g., $500K+/month in digital advertising)
Nice to have
- Experience in fintech, finance, or regulated industries
- Ability to create simple ad/social assets in Canva
- Experience using AI tools for ideation, testing workflows, or performance analysis
