Salary Range:
- There are several different tiers and salaries will depend on experience.
- General range however is 160K-210K base plus a 15% bonus.
Overview:
We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Platform AI Engineer to design, build, and operate the core services powering AI-driven products. In this role, you will architect scalable systems, design developer-friendly APIs and SDKs, and work directly with modern AI/ML and LLM technologies to deliver reliable, production-grade solutions. You will join a team solving complex distributed systems challenges while shaping the technical direction of a platform.
Background Profile:
- 8+ years of experience in backend software engineering, platform engineering, or MLOps, with success architecting and operating complex systems at scale.
- 2+ years of direct, hands-on experience building applications or platforms on top of AI/ML models or LLMs.
- Expert-level proficiency in Python and deep experience with modern software architecture and API design.
- Demonstrated ability to build maintainable, well-documented SDKs and tooling for other developers.
- Strong hands-on experience with Kubernetes and building services in multi-cloud PaaS environments (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Solid understanding of Infrastructure as Code -Terraform
- Proven experience building and operating production-grade SaaS platforms, with strong knowledge of CI/CD, monitoring, telemetry, and reliability engineering.
- Practical experience with LLM orchestration frameworks such as Bedrock, Vertex, Semantic Kernel, or LangChain.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to navigate ambiguous or rapidly changing environments.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- A passion for building scalable, resilient systems and raising the engineering bar across the team.
